Abstract

Surgical resection of adrenal pheochromocytoma is often performed laparoscopic. The advantages of laparoscopic pheochromocytoma are reduced pain, reduced length of hospital stay, and more rapid return to normal activity. During pnomoperitoneum and tumor manipulation in laparoscopy, there is a risk of hypertensive events due to catecholamine secretion and increased intraabdominal pressure. In this case report we discussed the correction of hemodynamic alterations by reducing intraabdominal pressure during laparoscopic pheochromocytoma resection.
