Abstract

In this study, basic steps which is necessary to develop a mobile educator platform for children were explained using SVM (Support Vector Machine) and mobile platforms. In this system based on Support Vector Machines, it was asked for the children to draw basic geometric shapes and created a smart application that provide supportive feedback to them. It is aimed to develop basic education skill and hand-eye coordination of the children with this supportive feedback. The sample group was chosen between 4 and 13 ages' children. In the study, a thousand hand drawn geometric shapes taken from 15 children were used. The drawing of the children were separated in two groups according to their success and each child in the groups was evaluated in their level. The children showing advance with drawing are given app awards, it was aimed to create entertained platform while training.
