The aim of our research group is to use molecular biology, bioinformatics, genome editing approaches with Crispr/Cas9, multi-omics approaches and genome-wide association studies to decipher the molecular mechanisms underlying the response of various horticultural crops, especially tomato and bean, to biotic and abiotic stresses and to develop new genotypes tolerant to these stress conditions. There are 6 PhD, 5 MSc and 4 undergraduate students in the research group.
