Neuroscience Research Group
Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Graduate Institute Neuroscience Research Group was established in 2024. Neuroscience is a field that continues to develop day by day. In our department, which has a multidisciplinary academic staff, graduate education is given in parallel with the developments in the fields of neuroanatomy, neurogenetics, neuropharmacology, neuroimmunology, neurophysiology, neuropathology and neuroscience. First of all, it is aimed to teach the anatomy of neuroscience and the functional relationships between these anatomical structures with a multidisciplinary approach. The physiopathology of the nervous system and the clinicopathologic consequences of these problems are discussed. Neurological diseases are covered and information is shared on the evaluation and rehabilitation of physical and cognitive functions. In addition to theoretical knowledge in this field, practical applications are also included.
With the support of experienced faculty members in the field, both the academic development of students is supported and the opportunity to take part in R&D and innovation studies in the field of neuroscience is tried to be created. With the support and participation of our graduate students, our Department, which has made and continues to make important contributions in the field of neuroscience, tries to provide a multidisciplinary working environment.
