Welcome to the Samsun Urban Studies and Conservation Research Group.
Our group adopts a holistic approach to urban spaces by addressing their historical, social, and spatial dimensions, with a focus on the conservation of cultural heritage, the understanding of urban memory, and the development of participatory planning processes. By bringing together the fields of architecture, planning, and urban design, our interdisciplinary research environment aims to contribute both to academic knowledge production and to practices that promote the public good.
