This study performed to determine assertiveness level of students who educated in different programs in Kafkas University Ataturk Health Services Vocational School. 265 Students participated in the research based on voluntary consent. For the data obtaining, they were used Rathus Assertiveness Scale and questionnaire form identifying the student that contain demographic properties such as gender, program, class level, family income level, parents education and family type. Analyses of data were calculated by using t-test and one way ANOVA statistical methods in SPSS program. Demographic properties of students were compared with Rathus Assertiveness Scale mean score. Rathus Assertiveness Scale mean score of the students was 14,92. According to the RAE score they were named, 110 students (41,5 %) were ashamed and 153 student (57,5 %) were enterprise and 2 students (0,75 %) were aggressive. In investigation of RAE scores, While students of Patient Care at Home ( X =22,58, S=24,87), Elderly Care ( X enterprise, students of Medical Laboratory Techniques ( =19,96, S=24,16) and Medical Promotion and Marketing ( X =8,92, S=8,41) and Child Development program ( Efforts can be made to provide assertiveness training to ashamed programs.
Atılganlık düzeyini belirlemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya, sözlü onamı alınmış ve gönüllük esasına dayalı 265 öğrenci katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak demografik özellikleri içeren tanılayıcı anket formu (cinsiyet, program, sınıf düzeyi, aile gelir düzeyi, anne baba eğitim durumu, aile tipi) ve Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri (RAE) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPPS paket program kullanılarak, t-testi ve tek yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) istatistikî yöntemler kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin demografik özellikleri ile Rathus Atılganlık Ölçeği puan ortalamaları karşılaştırılmıştır. Öğrencilerin Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri puan ortalaması 14,92’dir. Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri puanına göre öğrencilerin 110’u (%41,5) çekingen, 153’ü (%57,7) atılgan, 2’si (%0,75) saldırgan grubunda yer almaktadır. RAE puanları incelendiğinde, Evde Hasta Bakımı ( X =22,58, S=24,87), Yaşlı Bakımı ( X =19,96, S=24,16) ile Tıbbi Tanıtım ve Pazarlama ( programlarının öğrencilerinin atılgan olduğu; Tıbbi Laboratuar Teknikleri( X X =8,92, S=8,41) ve Çocuk Gelişimi ( =13,62, S=24,39) X =8,18, S=8,42) programlarındaki öğrencilerin ise çekingen olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çekingen bulunan programlara atılganlık eğitimi verilmesi yönünde çalışmalar yapılabilir.
