Abstract

Using echo-sounder and sonar have been extremely become widespread, but on the other hand these acoustic equipments which provide to find the catch easy and fast, have been become one of the important factor. Because these equipments let the catch constraint increased on stocks. Many countries; after they exploited insofar as one was able to fish stocks within their own territorial waters, they inclined towards to the open sea to fish catch, and left no choice but or must left no choice. Turkey is also face to face to this situation. But, it is extremely clear that fish herds in ocean can't be fixed by the methods which had been used for along time past and also in case if there weren't any fish finders it is impossible. So, it is indispensable to make satellites combination which can be used on estimations for related to stocks and to make acoustic equipments. In this study, some information about remote sensing method and fish finder equipments using in commercial fishery were given.
