Abstract

In the molecule of the title compound, (C4H12N2)[Cr2F2O5], the two crystallographically independent piperazinium dications are both located on centers of inversion, while the anions are located in general positions. Intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot F and N-H center dot center dot center dot O and intramolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds may be effective in the stabilization of the crystal structure.
