Abstract

In the title compound, [ZnCl(2)(C(6)H(7)N)(2)], the Zn(II) ion (site symmetry 2) adopts a near-regular tetrahedral ZnN(2)Cl(2) coordination geometry. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N-H center dot center dot center dot Cl hydrogen bonds, generating (100) sheets containing R(2)(2)(8) loops.
