Abstract

Chlorpromazine is an antipsychotic drug with low potency involved in phenothiazine group. In mild intoxication, sedation, ataxia, blurry vision; in moderate and severe intoxication coma and anticholinergic side effects can be seen. In literature according to our researches, there's limited data that hyperamylasemia is asosiated with chlorpromazine intoxication. We presented a case with hyperamylasemia that we thought that it was due to chlorpromazine intoxication.
