Abstract

The concept of "Outdoor Education" is particularly used as a method in the world literature in recent years. It is a very new concept, which is used in education. The main objective of outdoor education is to integrate the class based on education with outdoor learning. In other words, teacher pursues learning outcomes beyond the classroom. Thus, it is to suggest that some learning activities are better suited out of doors. Moreover, teachers can train more sensitive and conscious children to their natural (especially in these days that global warming alarming) and cultural wealth. In some countries (U.K., Scotland, Sweden, and Germany except.) there are some outdoor education centers at which some practical and theoretical studies are made. In this article outdoor education will be held on by the example of Blairvadach Outdoor Education Center, Glasgow, Scotland. Also it is explained that what outdoor education is and a general evaluation for preschool education in Turkey.
