Abstract

The title compound, C13H10BrNO2, crystallizes in an enol imine form. The molecule is roughly planar, with a dihedral angle of 5.13 (10)(degrees) between the aromatic rings. Intramolecular O-H (. . .) N hydrogen bonding generates an S(6) ring motif, whereas intermolecular O-H (.) (.) (.) O hydrogen bonding links the molecules into centrosymmetric R-2(2)(10) dimers.
