Thrombi are the most frequent cardiac masses followed by metastatic masses and primary neoplasms respectively. While myxomas are the most common primary heart neoplasms, hemangiomas are quite rare. They are usually asymptomatic and diagnosed incidentally. Cardiac neoplasms may be confused with thrombi both radyologically and clinically. Treatment of thrombi and tumors is entirely different, so differential diagnosis of cardiac masses is important. In this article, we discussed preoperative diagnostic difficulties in a case of peritoneal dialysis patient who diagnosed as intracardiac hemangioma. Copyright © 2012 by Türkiye Klinikleri.
