This study’s purpose is to determine the effect of mindful-ness-based psycho-education program for parents of childrenwith leukemia on ruminative thought, perceived stress, andwell-being. This experimental randomized controlled study wasadopted with the parents of children. Mindfulness-based psy-choeducation program was applied on online platform withparents. After the intervention, ruminative thinking styles, per-ceived stress levels and well-being levels of the parents in theexperimental group were found to be significantly differentfrom the control group (p < 0.05). The mindfulness-based psy-choeducation program applied in this study was found to beeffective in reducing ruminative thinking and perceived stressin parents of children diagnosed with leukemia. It was alsoconcluded that the program was effective in maintaining par-ents’ level of well-being
