In this work, we studied an album and its exploitation in FLE class. It is also called picture book or illustrated book for children. Being a literary genre, the album allows real learning in context. Indeed, it is an educational book that makes interesting the foreign language course with its playful aspect. It is very rich material in terms of image and very profitable for classes of foreign language. It is a book, a message with a particular mode of communication that it calls iconic writing; because it is transmitted to writing and illustration/painting: drawing, photography, collage. With an album, learners have the opportunity to have fun while learning the components of the target language. Thanks to the images and the simplicity of the text, they have no difficulty in understanding the story of the album. It is clear that with a well-chosen album, it is possible to develop all the main and complementary skills. It makes it possible to fill the concrete needs: to listen, to produce, to read, to rewrite a short story or to discuss with his classmate on the subject. Rather, it is about making learners aware of certain characteristics and specificities of the French language. Also, the albums are versatile media to adapt to all learners with different learning styles and different forms of intelligence. They are children's books to use as a didactic tool, this can be achieved through many varied activities. They offer the teacher a vast alternative to the field of activity and the task to be carried out in class or outside the classroom. They are very fun and motivating tools that foreign language teachers can always benefit. In this study, we used the qualitative method in the form of content analysis.
