Abstract

Efficacy selamectin was evaluated in 2-3 month-old 30 puppies with natural ascaridiosis. Topical application was used on dog's back in front of the base of the scapula with a single unit dose of 6 mg kg-1 of body weight, once and twice with the fifteen days interval in group I and II respectively. The percentage reductions in number of eggs per gram were 84-92.8% for group I and 91.64-100% for group II.
