Özet

The title compound, C14H12Br2, consists of two central noncoplanar six-membered carbon rings constituting a bicyclic system, having a benzene ring fused on one side and a brominated cyclobutane ring fused on the other side at the bridging atoms of the bicyclic system. The bicyclic system has approximate D-3 symmetry and all three six-membered rings adopt boat conformations.
