Abstract

With the widespread use of the Internet and smart devices, the use of social media tools also increases. With increasing usage, many data stacks also bring new information gains from this data stack. In this study, the text that is written about the subject belonging to a determined hashtag on twitter, which is widely used in social media communication tools, has collected regularly at specific time intervals. The words contained in this text have been separated. Sentiment analysis based on dictionary is performed using these words. A general conclusion was reached regarding given hashtag using a real-time distributed architecture. This method allows private or government agencies to conduct a public opinion survey before doing a job.
