Behçet's disease is a chronic inflammatory disease. It is characterized by recurrent ulcers of oral cavity and genital organs. This disease is also characterized by skin lesions and uveitis of eyes. The main pathology of this disease is an obstructive vasculitis that is caused by abnormal immun complexes. It is known that there is ocular involvement in the range of 68 - 85 % in Behçet's disease. Ocular involvement is the most frequent serious complication of this disease that can be resulted in blindness. Color Doppler ultrasonography is recommended as an useful diagnostic tool recently for the vascular structure and blood circulation of eye besides the different diagnostic modalities. It was available getting an images of vascular structure that are 0.1-1.0 mm in diameter with the help of Doppler ultrasonography and it is also possible to get quantitative results about blood flow of eye. That is why color Doppler ultrasonography is getting importance to following the patients with Behçet's disease. And also it is an useful tool to diagnose progress of ocular Behçet's disease and prognosis of it.
