Abstract

In the title compound, C18H16O3, the phenyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 59.67 (4)degrees with the benzene ring of the chromanone unit. The molecular structure is stabilized by a weak intramolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O interaction and the crystal packing is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions.
