Abstract

In this study, sero-prevalence of brucellosis on 203 horses from Van area, Turkey, was investigated and 60.59% of the horses tested were found to be positive by Rose Bengal Plate (RBPT). In addition, a comparative efficacy of standard tube agglutination test was evaluated on these sera. While RBPT is a screening qualitative test STAT is a confirmatory quantitative test.
