ACTA CRYSTALLOGRAPHICA SECTION E-STRUCTURE REPORTS ONLINE, vol.63, 2007 (SCI-Expanded)
The dihedral angles between the phenyl ring and the naphthalene part of the chromanone unit in the two independent molecules of the title compound, C20H14O2, are 56.17 (4) and 55.62 (7)degrees. The molecular structure is stabilized by weak intramolecular C -H center dot center dot center dot O interactions and the crystal packing is stabilized by weak C -H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions.
