After observing macroscopic characteristics, larynx cranialis of three storks were investigated histologicaly. Although, one or three papillae were noticed in the caudal part of mons laryngealis, there was no papilla in the sulcus laryngealis. The cartilagines laryngeales were formed by paired cartilago arytenoidea, single cartilago cricoidea and cartilago procricoidea. The protuberance, which is named as crista ventralis locate in the inner surface of cartilago cricoidea was clearly observed.
