The title compound, C18H20ClN3O5, adopts the keto-amine tautomeric form and displays an intramolecular N-H...O hydrogen bond. The configuration around the azo N=N double bond is trans and the dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 10.0 (1)degrees. Intermolecular O-H...O hydrogen bonds form a three-dimensional network.
