Abstract

In this study foliar sclerophyll indexes, N %, P % and K % concentrations and correlations between sclerophyll index and these parameters were investigated in Quercus cerris L. var. cerris and Phillyrea latifolia L. In addition to this soil samples were collected and some physical and chemical analysis were carried out in these samples. Finally it has been determined that sclerophyll index was correlated with leaf N % concentrations in Q. cerris var. cerris and P. latifolia and leaf K % concentration in Q. cerris var. cerris. © 1994 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
