Özet

This study aims to theoretically investigate the dynamic behavior of the conventional power transmission mechanism in horizontal-axis wind turbines. For this purpose, a new theoretical model was developed by evaluating the non-dimensional design parameters described. With this model, different non-dimensional parameters called the generator torque (T-G) and the coefficient of effectiveness (K-t) were defined for the purpose of estimating the power transmitted to the generator.
