Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the knowledge levels of the students in the School of Physical Education and Sports about Energy and Muscular Systems. In this study, the knowledge levels of total 115 students studying in the third and fourth grades in Ondokuz Mayis University School of Physical Education and Sports, Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching and Coaching Education Department were determined. A data collecting device consisting of 26 multiple choice questions was developed in order to determine the knowledge levels of the students about energy and muscular systems. 13 of the questions were aimed to measure the knowledge level about energy system and the rest was aimed to measure the knowledge level about the muscular system. The obtained data were interpreted using SPSS 14.0 packet program.
