Bu araştırmanın amacı Sakin Şehir Hareketine yönelik algı ile bu hareketi desteklemeye yönelik tutum arasındaki ilişkide çevresel kaygının etkisini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırma için kurulan modelin bağımsız değişkeni Sakin Şehir Hareketi algısı, bağımlı değişkeni Sakin Şehir Hareketini destekleme, düzenleyici değişkeni ise yerel halkın taşıdığı çevresel kaygıdır. Sinop’un Gerze ilçesinde yürütülen araştırmada kolayda örnekleme tekniğiyle 187 katılımcıdan veri toplanmıştır. Veriler PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling – Kısmi En Küçük Kareler Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli) yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Bu çerçevede, Sakin Şehir Hareketi algısının ekonomik etki boyutunun sakin şehir hareketinin desteklenmesinde bir etkisinin olmadığı buna karşın refah etkisi ve kültürel etki boyutlarının hareketin desteklenmesinde olumlu yönde etki ettiği belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın nihai amacı doğrultusunda ortaya çıkarılan sonuca göre ise Çevresel Kaygının, Sakin Şehir Hareketine yönelik algı ile bu hareketi desteklemeye yönelik tutum arasındaki ilişkide anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this research is to reveal the effect of environmental anxiety on the relationship between the perception towards the Cittaslow Movement and the attitude towards supporting the movement. The independent variable of the model created for the research is the perception of the Cittaslow Movement, the dependent variable is the support of the Cittaslow Movement, and the moderator variable is the environmental anxiety. In the study conducted in Gerze district of Sinop, the data were collected from 187 participants with convenience sampling technique. Data were analyzed by PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling) method. It has been determined that the economic impact dimension of the Cittaslow Movement perception has no effect on supporting the movement, whereas the welfare effect and cultural impact dimensions have a positive effect on supporting the movement. According to the result obtained at the end of the research, it was determined that Environmental Anxiety did not have a significant effect on the relationship between Cittalslow Movement perception and the attitude towards supporting the movement.
