Objective: This study was conducted to determine the re lationship between climate change anxiety and psychological well being of pregnant women. Material and Methods: This study is descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational. The sample of the study consisted of 405 pregnant women who applied to the pregnant and non stress test polyclinic of a hospital located in the north of Türkiye be tween October 1, 2023 and October 1, 2024. The pregnant women’s introductory information form, Climate Change Worry Scale and Psy chological Well-Being Scale were used to collect data. Number, per centage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation were used for descriptive statistics; Pearson correlation analysis was used for the relationships between scale scores. Results: The mean score of the Psychological Well-Being Scale of the pregnant women was 44.79±7.43, the anxiety sub-dimension was 16.71±6.92, the helplessness sub-dimension was 7.08±3.27 and the Climate Change Worry Scale was 23.80±9.92. No significant relationship (r=0.90, p=0.71) was found between the total score of the Climate Change Worry Scale and the Psychological Well Being Scale. Conclusion: It was found that pregnant women had low levels of climate change anxiety and high levels of psychological well being. It was observed that there was no relationship between pregnant women’s climate change anxiety and their psychological well-being. Pregnant women’s awareness of the negative effects of climate change on maternal/infant health and what they can do to cope with it should be increased. It is recommended that midwives and nurses who care for pregnant women provide training and counseling on climate change.
