The molecule displays trans and anti conformations about the C-N and N-N bonds, respectively. There is an intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N( azomethine) hydrogen bond. Intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot O and O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds consolidate molecules into a three- dimensional architecture.
