Özet
In this study, the performance of different Distance Vector-Hop (DV-Hop) based localization algorithms is comprehensively analyzed using a multi-threshold error approach. Unlike the commonly used fixed-threshold evaluation in the literature, the Localization Success Ratio (LSR) metric is examined across different threshold levels in the range of 0.05CR–0.20CR. In this way, not only the performance of the algorithms at a single accuracy level but also their behavior under varying error tolerances is revealed. In addition, simulation results for the position estimation stage of the DV-Hop algorithm, restructured using the Fire Hawk Optimizer (FHO), demonstrate that this approach provides localization performance comparable to strong metaheuristic methods such as Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Moreover, this enhancement applied to the third stage of the DV-Hop algorithm offers significant advantages for practical applications due to its lower computational cost and parameter-free structure.
