Özet

The postpartum psychiatric disorders are important complications of the birth and they are more common than thought. Different disorders can be seen in the postpartum period; postpartum blues, postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. In addition to these three groups of disorders, puerperal anxiety can also be seen in this period and it can lead serious results. The prediction of the postpartum psychiatric disorders in the early postpartum period is very important to prevent its negative effects on mother, baby and the family; to monitor and treat of the mother.
