Abstract

In this study, fully mature bunch and berry characteristics of foxy grape (Vitis labrusca L.) cultivars ('Rizessi', 'Rizpem', 'Rizellim', 'Ülkemiz', and 'Çeliksu') which were selected and registered from the Black Sea Region of Türkiye were determined. 'Çeliksu', 'Ülkemiz', and 'Rizessi' cultivars had the highest cluster weight, while the 'Rizpem' had the lowest. 'Çeliksu' had the highest value of berry width (16.02 and 16.47 mm), berry length (17.79 and 17.86 mm), and berry weight (3.25 and 3.29 g), respectively over the years. 'Rizpem' had the lowest data for all the berry properties. Among foxy grape cultivars, 'Rizpem' in terms of total soluble solids (TSS%) (14.48% and 15.70) and titratable acidity (2.00 and 2.31 g/100cc) and 'Ülkemiz' in terms of pH (3.46 and 3.22) had the highest values. In addition, the highest average fruit juice (33.54 and 31.77) and berry skin (32.63 and 40.57) L* value was determined in the 'Rizpem' cultivar in both years.
