Abstract

The use of unilateral spinal block with a specific hyperbaric mixture of bupivacaine and fentanyl in two centenarian women is presented. This technique was very effective in restricting sympathetic block, and it provided satisfactory analgesia and hemodynamic stability. (C) 2008 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
