The current study aimed to explore the experiences and coping methods of pri-miparous (i.e., first-time) mothers during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. In-depth individual interviews were conducted with 17 primiparous mothers. Data were analyzed using Glaser’s grounded theory analysis. A core theme emerged—Psychologically Worn Out Due to the Challenges of Becoming a Mother and Fear of Something Happening to the Baby—and was related to the following subthemes: postpartum mental health, maternal adjustment, maternal at-tachment, baby care, and coping methods. The study revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic negatively affects all aspects of motherhood in postpartum primiparous mothers.
