Abstract

Paragangliomas are rare tumors which progress slowly. Paragangliomas are usually located at aortic bifurcation, foramen jugulare, aortic arch and retroperitoneum. Although abdominal pain is the most common symptom of retroperitoneal paraganglioma, symptoms can differ regarding the hormones secreted. Surgical resection and radiotherapy should be preferred for local treatment.
