Abstract

It is possible to carry out activities related to load profiling, energy consumption estimation, planning, taking new investment decisions, managing voltage and energy quality, system efficiency and loss of line with the evaluation of collected data from smart grid. Therefore, it is important to analyze and forecast the smart grid. Energy efficiency in fast-growing countries like Turkey is an important issue. Through analyzes, system efficiency can be improved without making large investments. This paper focuses on design, analysis and optimization of a 1350 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant using Electrical Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP) software. Using ETAP, power flow analysis, short circuit analysis, harmonic analysis and transient stability analysis has been carried out in the system.
