The interaction between an incompressible third-grade fluid flow and heated parallel plates is examined. An exact solution of the energy equation is given for a constant heat flux at the walls. The resulting momentum and energy equations for Poiseulle flow of thermodynamically-compatible third-grade fluid is shown under the condition that constant heat flux at the wall can be solved exactly.
