HASEKI TIP BULTENI-MEDICAL BULLETIN OF HASEKI, vol.51, no.2, pp.66-69, 2013 (ESCI)
Aim: Our aim was to determine the profile of nephropathy in adults in our region. Methods: Consecutive renal biopsies performed between January 2007 and May 2012 were reviewed. There were 90 cases (M 44, F 46, mean age: 36.63 +/- 12.59). Results: The most common indication for renal biopsy was nephritic syndrome and the most common diagnosis was membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis. Conclusion: In the last 10 years, similar findings were obtained in studies on the epidemiology of glomerulonephritis and, MPGN remains in first place.
