Özet

In this chapter, we provide a critical review of the latest trend issues in the field of aging properties of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC)-based blends, interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs), gels, and nanostructures. In the last decade, the fundamental aspects of natural, artificial, chemical, biological, physical, mechanical, thermal, thermo-oxidative, oxidation, ozone, climate, UV-weathering, and photo-oxidation aging have been highlighted with their relationship with the structure of the polymer blends. A review of aging and an examination of methods in the assessment of functionalized PVC have been employed to monitor the process, which was explained in detail. The influence of the synergistic environmental aging (UV radiation, water, and temperature) of polymer-nanocomposites on mechanical/residual properties and the mechanism of the accelerated aging has been investigated.
