This study aims to reveal the views of preschool and classroom teachers on the concept of virtue in the definition of a competent and virtuous person that the Century of Türkiye Education Model (TCEM) is trying to construct. In the study that used a phenomenological design, face-to-face interviews were conducted with 8 preschool teachers and 12 primary school first-grade teachers, selected purposively. Semi-structured interview questions were used to collect data, and thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings from the study were discussed within the framework of teachers' definition of virtue, teachers' views on the concept of virtue in TCEM, teachers' practices for raising virtuous individuals, teachers' practices related to virtue outside the classroom, and the themes of schools that raise virtuous people. The teachers who participated in the study defined virtue as values accepted by everyone and incorporated into character, and discussed its importance to society. Teachers indicated that the most important value a virtuous person should have is honesty, and that they should also possess values such as justice, respect, empathy, diligence, modesty, helpfulness, and non-prejudice.
