There have been very important scholars during the histor(1)y of Islam. Although some of these scholars. views have been known widely with their popularity, some of the scholars. names have been forgotten even though they have scientific superiorities. One of these was the scholar of the hadith and Islamic law, Ibn al-Qattan al-Fasi who lived in the years of 562-628/1167-1231. In this article we have to summarize his ideas about the hadith sciences.
