Özet

The molecule of the title compound, C13H10ClN2O2, is essentially planar and displays a trans configuration with respect to the central N = N double bond. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 0.73 ( 16)degrees. There is a strong intramolecular O - (HO)-O-... hydrogen-bonding interaction which stabilizes the molecular structure.
