Abstract

In the title compound, C20H18O3, the phenyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 50.41 ( 10)degrees with the benzene ring of the chromanone unit. The molecular structure is stabilized by weak intramolecular C - H center dot center dot center dot O interactions and the crystal packing is stabilized by weak intermolecular C - H center dot center dot center dot O interactions.
