Lect. PhD Elif Cilavdaroğlu

Biography

Elif Cilavdaroğlu served as a middle blocker in the Bolu Sports Club volleyball team from 2002 to 2004. During the same years, she completed her high school education, focusing on foreign language and science at Bolu Canip Baysal. Then, she began her undergraduate studies in the Department of Animal Science at Ondokuz Mayıs University. She participated in the Farabi Student Exchange Program and received training in the Department of Animal Science at Uludağ University during the fall and spring semesters of 2011-2012. She also completed internship periods at Beypiliç and HasTavuk.

She graduated from the Department of Animal Science at Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2013. She pursued her master's at the Mediterranean University Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences. She completed her thesis titled 'Effects of Queen Weight and Queen Replacement on Colony Development in Bombus Terrestris L. (bumblebee)' in 2017.

The same year, she started her doctoral program at Ondokuz Mayıs University Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences. In 2019, within the 'Erasmus+' exchange program framework, she worked as a 'Ph—St. TRNE' at the commercial enterprise 'Ballyrichard Hs.' in Ireland. At the end of the same year, she began her duties as a Research Assistant in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at Yozgat Bozok University, Boğazlıyan Vocational School.

As of 2022, Elif Cilavdaroğlu continues her academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant and Animal Production at Ondokuz Mayıs University, Samsun Vocational School.
