Prof. Mehmet Çebi

He was born in Samsun in 1973. He completed his primary and secondary education in Samsun. He completed his undergraduate education in 1996 at the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Education, Ondokuz Mayis University. He completed his master's degree in 1999 at the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Institute of Health Sciences, Ondokuz Mayis University, and his doctorate in 2013 at the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Institute of Health Sciences, Ondokuz Mayis University, earning the title of Doctor of Science in Physical Education and Sports.

Research Assistant at the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Institute of Health Sciences at Ondokuz Mayis University from 1996 to 1999, as a Lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching at the Faculty of Education at Amasya University from 1999 to 2006, and as a Lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Faculty of Education at Ondokuz Mayis University from 2006 to 2010. -2010 as an Instructor in the Department of Physical Education and Sports at Amasya University Faculty of Education, 2010-2011 as an Instructor in the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation at Ondokuz Mayis University Havza Vocational School, 2011 -2013: Lecturer at Ondokuz Mayis University Yasar Dogu Physical Education and Sports College, Coaching Education Department, 2013-2019: Associate Professor at Ondokuz Mayis University Yasar Dogu Faculty of Sports Sciences, Recreation Department, In 2019, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Sports Sciences by the Inter-University Council Presidency and continued as an Associate Professor in the Recreation Department of the Yasar Dogu Faculty of Sports Sciences at Ondokuz Mayis University from 2019 to 2024. In 2024, he was appointed as a Professor in the Recreation Department of the Yasar Dogu Faculty of Sports Sciences at Ondokuz Mayis University.

He served as the Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching at the Amasya Faculty of Education, Ondokuz Mayis University (2002-2007), and the Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Faculty of Education, Amasya University (2007-2008). He served as the Deputy Head of the Coaching Education Department at the Yasar Dogu Physical Education and Sports College of Ondokuz Mayis University (2011-2012), and as a member of the Faculty Council of the Recreation Department at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Ondokuz Mayıs University (2013-2017). Ondokuz Mayis University Yasar Dogu Faculty of Sports Sciences Recreation Department Department Chair (2013-2017), Anadolu University Samsun Provincial Examination Services Coordination Deputy Provincial Coordinator (2013-2016). Since 2020, he has been serving as the Samsun Provincial Examination Services Coordinator at Anadolu University, the Samsun Provincial Examination Coordinator at Istanbul University Open and Distance Education Faculty, and the Samsun Provincial Examination Coordinator at Gazi University Highway Transportation Application and Research Center.

He also continues to serve as the Department/Division Chair of the Recreation Department at the Yaşar Doğu Faculty of Sports Sciences at Ondokuz Mayıs University (2023-...) and as a member of the Faculty Council of the Recreation Department at the Yasar Dogu Faculty of Sports Sciences at Ondokuz Mayis University (2023-...).

He has published numerous articles, papers, books, and book chapters in national and international journals in the field of Sports Sciences. His foreign language is English, and he is married with two children.
