An artist born in Baku, Azerbaijan, graduated in 1979 from the 11-year music school named after Bulbul, majoring in piano, and in the same year won first prize at the National Piano Competition. In 1984, the artist graduated with high honors from the Piano Department of the Azerbaijan State Conservatory named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov and was awarded diplomas as a Concert Pianist, Accompanist (Korrepetitor), Chamber Ensemble Soloist, and Pedagogue. In the same year, the artist began working at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory first as an accompanist and later as a lecturer in the Piano Department.

Since 1982, the artist has been actively performing as a solo concert pianist. In 1986, the artist became a soloist of the “Azkonser” organization under the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.

The artist has given numerous solo recitals and chamber music concerts and participated in various international events and festivals in cities such as Baku (Azerbaijan), Moscow (Russia), Minsk (Belarus), Lviv (Ukraine), Kaunas (Lithuania), Tbilisi (Georgia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Odense (Denmark), Tunis (Tunisia), Paris (France), Munich (Germany), Mexico City (Mexico), Bern (Switzerland), Ankara, Kayseri, Adana, Niğde, Nevşehir, Samsun, and Çorum (Turkey).

The artist’s repertoire includes works from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Impressionist periods, as well as particularly works by 20th-century and contemporary composers.

Between 1996 and 2001, the artist was invited to Erciyes University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Music, where they worked as a lecturer and served as head of the department.

Between 2001 and 2009, the artist continued working as a lecturer and associate professor at the Baku Music Academy.

In 2003, the artist received an award within the project “Famous Women of Azerbaijan” conducted by the Vektor International Science Center.

In 2004, two CDs by the artist titled “The Theatre of Music and Painting” and “Fusions” were released.

In 2007, by a decree of the President of Azerbaijan, the artist was awarded the honorary title “Honored Artist” (State Artist).

Since 2011, the artist has been working as a faculty member at Ondokuz Mayıs University Samsun State Conservatory, and in 2013 assumed the positions of vice director of the conservatory and head of the music department.

In 2015, the artist was awarded the title of professor by the Azerbaijan Higher Attestation Commission.

Today, the artist continues their career as an active concert pianist and academic.
